29 Year Old Female Suspect Captured after an American Man was Murdered in Punta Pacifica Panama.

Panama: An 83-year-old American man was murdered inside one of the apartments of the exclusive PH TOC building, located in Punta Pacífica, San Francisco district, and a 29-year-old woman, suspected of the crime, was detained three days later.

The Discovery

On Monday, the foreigner was found dead inside his apartment and during the required autopsy examination, it was confirmed that he had been stabbed to death, as he had knife wounds on his neck, chest and hands.

The Capture

The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that the woman is being linked to the homicide and robbery of the man, as she was seen entering the apartment on Sunday, and “the theft of money that the victim kept in the apartment was previously verified.” The agency also revealed that the woman was arrested this Thursday when she tried to re-enter the apartment.

Legal Proceedings

Now, the woman is waiting to be presented before a Guarantee Court for the formal charges against her for the alleged commission of crimes against life and personal integrity in the form of homicide and robbery, in addition to the application of the precautionary measure. The American man has not been identified at this time in the criminal investigation, nor where he was from in the United States.
