The extreme heat we’ve been enduring this week will ease during the holiday weekend, but it’s still going to be hot and muggy on Saturday. Some storms remain through Saturday evening.
FRIDAY NIGHT:
Warm and muggy with lows in the 70s. A few spotty showers or storms remain possible.
SATURDAY:
Partly cloudy, warm, & humid. Highs will range from the 80s across northeast Indiana to the mid & upper 90s farther southwest across the state. Heat indices in the 100s are still expected across a good chunk of Indiana and the HEAT ADVISORY has been extended to account for this. Some rain and storms could occur during the day, especially during the afternoon and early evening. Many locations will probably remain dry, but if storms do form a few of them could become strong to severe with gusty winds the main threat.
SATURDAY NIGHT:
Fair skies, cooler, and drier. Lows in the 60s.
SUNDAY-LABOR DAY:
Partly cloudy. Highs in the low to mid 80s with lows in the 60s. Some spots could dip into the 50s Monday morning.
TUESDAY:
Partly cloudy and warmer. Highs around 90.
WEDNESDAY:
Warm & humid. Chance of a few showers & storms. Highs in the low 90s.
