INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Property belonging to Pike Township School Board President Dr. Terry Webster was vandalized following a townhall meeting on July 8.

In a statement issued Saturday by Metropolitan School District of Pike Township, 24 hours after the MSD of Pike Township Townhall meeting, “an act of what the police believe was intentional vandalism was committed at the home of Board President, Dr. Terry Webster.’

The release states that administrators with the school district have not yet identified the suspects or the motive behind the crime.

“We want to reiterate that threats or intimidation against Board members are illegal acts and are not appropriate expressions of political disagreement.”

“While not everyone will agree with every decision of the Board, disagreements should be communicated through calm discourse. Any acts of intimidation that threaten the safety of the Board members and their families will be reported to the authorities and not tolerated.”
