INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was killed early Sunday morning in the 6300 block of West 34th Street, police say.

According to police reports, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were sent to the 6300 block of West 34th Street just after 3:00 a.m. Sunday on reports of a person stabbed.

Once on the scene, officers located a man with injuries consistent with stab wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. He later died in the hospital.
