INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A chilly start across the area this morning with temperatures in Northern Indiana falling into the upper thirties. We will look for very quiet conditions for the rest of the week with a slow warm-up as we go into the end of the week.
TODAY: Crisp start to the morning with temperatures into the ’40s across much of Central Indiana. We will look for lots of sunshine this afternoon as high pressure remains in control. Winds will be relatively light pretty much all day long. Temperatures will be climbing into the middle ’70s which is still a little bit below normal for this time of year but warmer than what we had over the weekend.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear conditions expected tonight low temperatures will fall into the lower 50s.
TOMORROW: Temperatures begin to return back to normal for this time of year heading into Tuesday. Look for temperatures to climb right around 80° on your Tuesday with mostly sunny skies.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Quiet conditions continue as we head into the mid and latter half of the work week. Really not going to see any kind of rain chances at all as we have a quiet weather pattern in place. We’ll see temperatures slowly rise into the lower 80s on Wednesday and middle ’80s on Thursday and Friday.
We will have to watch for drought conditions across the state. Right now we are seeing abnormally dry conditions across much of Indiana. Temperatures this weekend may climb even higher. We will see temperatures into the upper ’80s close to 90° for both Saturday and Sunday. A slim rain chance is possible for Sunday with high temperatures staying into the mid and upper ’80s.
