BRINGHURST, Ind. (WISH) — Two people are dead, and two are injured after their home in Bringhurst caught on fire early Saturday morning, officials say.

According to a Facebook post by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 4:10 a.m., Flora, Burlington, Cutler, Camden, and Delphi fire departments were dispatched to a house in the 2000 block of South 500 East on the report of a working structure fire with at least one person still inside.

Firefighters arrived and immediately searched the house.

Police say two people, 44-year-old David Majors and 15-year-old Alexander Majors, were found on the second floor of the home.

They were pronounced dead at the scene. David and Alexander both lived in the home.

Police say two other occupants were injured and were taken to the hospital; one by ambulance and the other by helicopter.

Police say they are both in stable condition and investigators are working to learn what caused the fire.
