Oman Oil Marketing Company reports minor damage following storage tank attack

Muscat – The Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has formally announced that one of its fuel storage tanks was subject to an incident. In a statement released by Oman Oil Marketing Company in a filing on MSX on March 4, the company confirmed that preliminary assessments indicate the impact was limited to minor physical damage. As a precautionary measure, operations at the affected site have been temporarily suspended to allow for thorough technical inspections and safety evaluations.

OOMCO is currently coordinating with relevant authorities to monitor the situation closely. The company has committed to disclosing further developments in line with applicable regulatory requirements. Despite the disruption at the specific site, the primary focus remains on ensuring the integrity of the infrastructure and the safety of the surrounding environment before resuming standard operations.
