MUSCAT – The Embassy of India in Muscat has announced that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 in Oman on Sunday, June 21, in pen-and-paper mode.

According to a notice issued by the embassy, the examination will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Oman time at the Indian School Muscat, New Multipurpose Hall (E Block).

The embassy said the main entrance gate of the examination centre will open at 9:30 a.m., and candidates are advised to arrive before 11:30 a.m. to complete mandatory procedures, including document verification and security checks.

Authorities stressed that candidates arriving after 12:00 p.m. will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.

Students appearing for NEET-UG 2026 have been instructed to carry their admit card, required photographs, and a valid identity document issued by the Government of India. Accepted forms of identification include a passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, or student ID card.

The embassy also reminded candidates to adhere to the dress code and all examination guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency.

NEET-UG is India’s national entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical and related health science programmes. Oman is among several overseas centres where the examination is conducted for Indian students residing abroad.
