The Government, at today’s session, adopted a decision reducing the prices of school supplies, starting today, until September 30th, announced spokesperson Marija Miteva.

With this decision, wholesalers are obliged to reduce the prices of school supplies by at least 10%, while retailers are obliged to ensure a reduction of at least 15%. The measure covers a wide range of products that are necessary for the beginning of the school year. This includes backpacks and bags, notebooks, notebooks, collages, pencils and pens, crayons, plasticine, modeling dough, mats… Practically, everything needed for the start of the school year, said Miteva.

In addition to the new, reduced price of the product, retailers are obliged to display the old price that was valid on June 1, 2026. Because this price is taken as the basic one on the basis of which the reduction is determined.
