Foreign Ministry sets up hotline for citizens caught in the fires in Greece

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it is closely monitoring the current situation with the fires in Greece, through its diplomatic and consular mission in Solun (Thessaloniki) and in communication with the competent Greek institutions. The fires hit areas popular with Macedonian tourists during the summer.

We appeal to our citizens who are in the affected areas and need assistance to contact the Ministry’s hotline +389-75-268-736, the email address [email protected], as well as the hotline numbers of the Consulate of the Republic of Macedonia in Solun: +30-694-526-8068 and +389-71-323-001,” the Ministry announced.

At the same time, they remind Macedonian citizens who are in the affected areas to carefully monitor the situation and follow the instructions and guidelines of the competent local authorities.
