UNICEF says it completed two drinking water projects in North Korea last year

UNICEF completed two water supply projects to provide access to safe drinking water for over 23,000 North Koreans last year, according to an agency spokesperson.

The pair of gravity-fed water systems provide water to five schools and four health care facilities in two counties across two North Korean provinces, Eliane Luthi of UNICEF East Asia and Pacific told NK News.
