North Korean, Russian education chiefs agree to boost exchanges in AI

The education chiefs of Russia and North Korea agreed to boost exchanges in artificial intelligence (AI) this week, opening a Russian-language center in Pyongyang.

The allies also exchanged several other delegations over the last week aimed at strengthening cultural, IT and law enforcement ties. The deputy head of Russia’s migration service visited Pyongyang, while DPRK delegations from the Ministry of Information Technology Industry and the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office traveled to Moscow.

The exchanges followed a visit by Russian Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov the previous week.
