North Korea launched a salvo of around 10 ballistic missiles toward the East Sea on Saturday, the ROK military reported, marking the first ballistic missile test since January.

The unspecified ballistic missiles were launched from the Sunan area near Pyongyang and flew toward the East Sea, or Sea of Japan, at 1:20 p.m. KST, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
