Veteran Abuja comedian and master of ceremonies, Peter Ogbudu, popularly known as Gana, will return with his annual comedy concert, The Vintage With Gana, on October 11, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Themed “Goals Before Gold”, this year’s edition continues Gana’s tradition of combining entertainment with reflections on contemporary issues. The comedian, who is also a radio anchor and social critic, is noted for using humour to highlight the struggles of ordinary Nigerians and question perceived injustices in society.
Speaking on the show, Gana explained that his approach to comedy goes beyond jokes and laughter. “I use my stage to communicate the challenges of the masses to our political class,” he said, noting that satire provides a platform to address issues in a way that resonates widely.
Over the years, The Vintage With Gana has grown into a recurring event on Abuja’s entertainment calendar. Past editions have featured high-profile performers and drawn the attendance of public figures and professionals. The 2024 edition, themed “Deeper Than Thought”, and the earlier “Brighter Side of Vintage With Gana”, attracted strong support from both fans and members of the society.
Beyond comedy, Gana is engaged in humanitarian work, often extending support to vulnerable groups. He has been involved in assisting less privileged children to return to school, a role that he describes as central to his mission as a public figure.
Tickets for this year’s edition have already gone on sale, with organisers urging early reservations ahead of the October 11 event.
