UN Peace Ambassador and internationally acclaimed artist Wuluohai arrived in Nepal on Tuesday ahead of her performance at the third edition of the World Peace Program. She landed at Gautam Buddha International Airport and is set to begin rehearsals for her much-anticipated appearance.
Wuluohai, celebrated worldwide for her fusion of cultural expression with messages of unity, compassion, and non-violence, is scheduled to perform on December 11 at the Lumbini Meditation Hall and Conference Center.
In a separate arrival, Ethiopian statesman Tamrat Layne reached Lumbini on Wednesday. Layne, who served as the Prime Minister of the Transitional Government of Ethiopia from 1991 to 1995, played a key role in steering the country from a unitary military regime to a multi-party federal democratic system during a crucial period of political transformation.
The World Peace Event III, themed “Peace for a Prosperous Future,” will take place across Lumbini and Ramgram. Organisers say the gathering will bring together 25 global billionaires for their first collective visit to Nepal, during which they are also expected to explore potential investment prospects.According to Program Director Nikesh Adhikari, more than 10,000 participants are expected to attend, including national and international leaders, scholars, UN cultural ambassadors, globally renowned business figures, artists, youth representatives, and community members.
