The Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation will organize a golf tournament for persons with disabilities at YCDC Golf Course (Silvery).
The tournament will take place on 29 March, and participants can register by 20 March, although organizers plan to continue accepting entries until the day of the competition.
The federation has held the disabled golf tournament annually in previous years, but temporarily suspended it during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event resumes this year.
According to federation secretary U Min Naing Oo, the tournament is organized to mark the achievements of Myanmar athletes at the ASEAN Para Games.
There is no limit on the number of participants, and persons with disabilities who can play golf are eligible to compete under the local rules set by the organizing committee. — ASH/KZL
