Siri Lanka delegation and UMTA were discussing the tourism development.

In an effort to strengthen the cooperation in the tourism industry between Myanmar and Siri Lanka, the business delegation led by Siri Lanka ambassador had a meeting with the Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA).

By the invitation of the Embassy of Siri Lanka, the meeting was held a few days ago, aiming to help the bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector strengthened and explore new business opportunities reciprocally beneficial for the two countries.

The two parties discussed the travel sector development, the networking of airlines, encouraging the tourist arrival increased and establishing of business cooperation. UMTA said it believes the meeting will be a good foundation for enhancing the cooperation in the travel sector of Myanmar and Siri Lanka.

UMTA said it will continue working on the international cooperation for the development of the tourism industry.
