Attendees at the MRESA 2026 Annual General Meeting.
To enhance professionalism and expand its service capabilities, the Myanmar Real Estate Services Association (Central) (MRESA) held its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 18 July at the Sky Star Hotel in Yangon.
Chairman U Khin Maung Than, relevant officials, executive members, regional and state chairpersons, district chairpersons, and members attended the meeting.
“As MRESA is a professional organization, we are striving to transform our members into professionals in the real estate sector,” said the MRESA chairman. “Furthermore, by collaborating with professional lawyers, we are ensuring that buyers and sellers can enter into correct contracts, proceed with sound ownership transfers, and safely conduct transactions involving valid grants and permits.”
Following the opening, Mr Somsak, Chairman of the Thai Real Estate Sales and Marketing Association, delivered a congratulatory message. Subsequently, Vice-Chairman 3 U Kyaw Tint presented a progress report during the 2023-2026 term. The MRESA signed agreements in June 2025 in Tokyo, Japan, with the US-based National Association of Realtors (NAR), JARECO (Japan-American Real Estate Coalition Organization), and the Long Island Board of Realtors. The association is prioritizing efforts to provide legal training and exchange technical knowledge and real estate services experience. — MT/ZN
