Sitagu Sayadaw gave encouragement to a monk who underwent surgery at the hospital.
New 1600+ patients have been registered for the 14th time of Sitagu eyesight donation.
The acceptance of new patients launched on 1 September and even in the morning, the registration exceeded 1600, said the Sitagu Cakku Dana Hospital. The 14th time of free eyesight donation has been scheduled to resume on 17 September.
In previous round, there were some people who allegedly received the free medical service without registration. So, this time, the hospital will ensure its medical treatment for registered patients by giving tokens.
Now, the registration was closed and those who are left to register can participate in next 15th round, said the hospital.
Through its free eyesight donation including the 13th round, the hospital provided medical examination for 16147 patients and surgery for 4949 with laser treatment for 314, totalling 5263.
