Aung Thike Tun was seen arriving at the airport    

Aung Thike Tun, a 25-year-old Myanmar national and Division 3 soccer player in the United States, arrived in Yangon to join the Myanmar national team.

With the invitation of Myanmar team’s head coach Anderson, Aung Thike Tun arrived at the Yangon International Airport on 13 October to join the national team’s trainings.

He is a student-athlete in the United States.

He is a right defender in his US club team, “We will need to wait and see how much his arrival can be supportive for Myanmar national team. If he can use his soccer experiences that he acquired in the United States, it will be an excited opportunity for the national team. But, to become a national player, the player’s current skills, the coach’s tactics and being harmony with other team players are essential. In particular, we will have to watch what advantages draw the coach Anderson to eye him,” said a Myanmar football analyst.
