The Philippines beat Myanmar 2-0 at the Men’s Under-22 football Group C in the 33rd SEA Games held at 700th Anniversary Stadium in Chiang Mai, Thailand on Dec. 5.
Myanmar’s Lat Wai Phone scored the second goal on his own team after Alex Monis from the Philippines scored the first goal in the nineteenth minute of the match. The Philippines will play Indonesia on Dec. 8. Myanmar will play Indonesia on Dec. 12.
Zaw Zaw, the President of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and the chairperson of the FIFA Football Social Responsibility Committee, attended the match.
