Myanmar EPS workers granted new passports lost in fire in South Korea

For Myanmar EPS workers who lost their passports in fire in the Republic of Korea, Myanmar Embassy issued new passports in accordance with the official procedure.

The embassy said in the statement that 25 Myanmar EPS workers at flyover construction site located at Mokpo in South Jeolla Province lost their passports in fire which destroyed their housing.

It provided the issuance of new passports for the workers in compliance with procedure. The ambassador, military attaché, labour attaché and the embassy officials attended the issuing ceremony.

The Myanmar Embassy in Seoul has helped Myanmar nationals including migrant workers in the Republic of Korea in accordance with existing laws, it said. – MT/ZS
