The Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) has announced that it will organize a four-day Ready to Wear Pattern Training course from 9 to 12 March at the MGMA Human Resource Development Centre (MGHRDC).

The training will be led by an experienced instructor from the B-Pro Fashion Design Academy. As a production-oriented skill upgrade programme, this is designed in a practical workshop format. It aims to improve participants’ pattern accuracy, fit correction skills, and industrial efficiency for real-world factory applications.

This training is specifically designed for pattern makers and assistants, sample room staff, and production and cutting supervisors. Key objectives include reducing production delays, minimizing fabric waste, and establishing standardized size systems.

Upon completion, participants will gain expertise in accurate RTW pattern drafting, professional fit correction, efficient style modification, fabric consumption planning, and production-oriented thinking. Factories can expect to see improvements in pattern accuracy, a reduction in rework, and an increase in overall production speed. Trainees will be awarded a joint certificate from the B-Pro Fashion Design Academy and MGHRDC.

Interested individuals may contact the MGHRDC for more information at No 400/B, Lower Mingaladon Road, Sint Gu Ward, Insein Township, phone: 09-795405583, 09-940858350, and 09-770289289.
