Rabat – The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) inaugurated the third edition of the National Industry Day (JNI) today at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses in Rabat.
Held November 3 through 4, this year’s event embraces the theme “Made in Morocco: A Mark of Quality, Competitiveness, and a Lever for Integrated Territorial Development.”
The gathering brings together government officials, private-sector leaders, industrial innovators, and regional representatives to highlight Morocco’s industrial potential and reaffirm its pursuit of economic sovereignty.
A national platform for industrial dialogue
Over the course of two days, the event features five major panels exploring key issues shaping Moroccan industry: the role of “Made in Morocco” in boosting national competitiveness, its contribution to territorial integration, innovation and skills for future industries, economic intelligence as a tool for global competitiveness, and the kingdom’s flagship industrial projects.
A dedicated exhibition showcases Morocco’s industrial excellence through high-value products, technological innovation, and sustainable manufacturing. Organizers describe it as a “living showcase of national know-how,” designed to strengthen the visibility of Moroccan products in regional and global markets.
Advancing Morocco’s industrial vision
The National Industry Day builds on the country’s ongoing industrial transformation, consistent with the Royal Vision, stressing economic sovereignty, balanced regional development, and stronger local production capacity.
Officials note that reinforcing the “Made in Morocco” label is intended to further integrate national industries into global value chains while keeping regional inclusion at the center of growth strategies.
The event also reflects Morocco’s determination to remain resilient amid global economic shifts, with industrial diversification, digital transition, and environmental sustainability serving as guiding principles of competitiveness.
A shared commitment between state and private sector
The Ministry of Industry and CGEM reiterated their shared goal of consolidating “Made in Morocco” as a strategic national brand symbolizing quality and reliability.
Both parties underlined the importance of public-private cooperation in positioning Morocco as a leading industrial hub in Africa and the Mediterranean.
Throughout the two-day event, organizers are expected to announce new partnerships and highlight innovation projects that demonstrate Morocco’s evolving industrial landscape and ambition for sustainable growth.
