The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has announced the launch of a new recruitment campaign to hire 800 nurses and health technicians, with a particular focus on specialties considered priorities, based on the actual needs of healthcare facilities and the profiles available on the job market.
According to the ministry’s statement, the initiative forms part of efforts to strengthen human resources in the health sector and to support the structural reforms currently underway within the national healthcare system.
The recruitment process will begin once the waiting lists for ongoing competitive examinations are finalized, in order to ensure fairness and equal opportunity among candidates.
To ensure a participatory and transparent approach, the distribution of these positions will be decided in coordination with trade unions within the central committee responsible for assignments and transfers.
The aim is to effectively respond to the staffing needs of health institutions for nursing and technical competencies, and to help address the existing shortfall in this key sector.
The ministry noted that this measure aligns with its broader objective of maintaining service continuity and advancing the comprehensive reform of the health system, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of care and ensuring more accessible health services for citizens across all regions of the kingdom.
