This year’s competition brought together 54 cyclists from Taiwan, Japan, Palau, Guam (U.S.), the Northern Mariana Islands (U.S.), Spain, Austria, Germany, and Poland, generating a dynamic and spirited environment that highlighted the value of international engagement through sport.
An Athletes’ Night reception was held at Palasia Hotel, where awards were presented to the men’s and women’s champions of the 100km and 50km categories, acknowledging the commitment, perseverance, and sportsmanship of all participants.
Secretary-General Ho presented the Palau Triathlon Federation with two e-bikes, donated by Chia-Da Industrial Co., Ltd., along with four flat-bar road bikes. The contribution aims to inspire more Palauan youth to pursue cycling and expand opportunities for sporting development.
The Taiwan Cyclist Federation and the Palau Visitors Authority extended invitations to three prominent YouTube creators—Windy Tuan Hui-Lin, Look Yu Szu-Ta, and A Japanese Exploring Taiwan—to promote cycling culture through digital media. Their content will help audiences in Taiwan and across the globe further appreciate the natural beauty of Palau and the enduring friendship between Palau and Taiwan. (Source: Taiwan Embassy FB)
