The Embassy of Palestine in Nouakchott Organizes a Celebration on the Occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Mauritania organized a celebration this evening, Tuesday, in Nouakchott, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The event was attended by the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad (acting), Mr. Mohamed Ould Soueydatt, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Fadel, Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic, and Ms. Hendou Mint Aynina, Adviser to the Prime Minister in charge of Political Affairs.

The ceremony included the screening of a documentary film about the State of Palestine and the life of the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.

The events also commemorated the declaration of Palestinian independence, the martyrdom of President Yasser Arafat, and the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

In his speech on the occasion, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Mauritania, Mr. Bashir Abu Hatab, expressed his sincere gratitude to all the countries and free peoples who stood by the Palestinian people in their ordeal and steadfastly rejected the systematic genocide they are subjected to.
