Prime Minister will present Report on Government Achievements for 2025 and General Outline of Programme for 2026 tomorrow to the National Assembly

The Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay will present his report to the National Assembly tomorrow, Thursday (22 January 2026), on the government’s work in 2025 and the general outlines of its programme for 2026, in accordance with the provisions of Article 73 of the Constitution.

During a meeting held last Thursday, chaired by Mr. Mohamed Bemba Maguat, President of the Assembly, the Conference of Presidents of the National Assembly scheduled two public sessions for the presentation and discussion of the report, as follows:

* Thursday, 22 January 2026:

– 10 a.m.: Presentation by the Prime Minister of his report to the National Assembly on the government’s activities during 2025 and the general outlines of its programme for 2026.

– Saturday, 24 January 2026:

– 10 a.m.: Discussion of the Prime Minister’s report.

It was also decided to set the total duration of the discussion of the Prime Minister’s report at seven (07) hours.
