Prime Minister affirms the government’s commitment to political calm, consolidating dialogue, and strengthening the independence of institutions

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, reiterated the government’s commitment to continue implementing the vision of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, in various fields, particularly regarding appeasement, openness, consultation, and dialogue, while respecting and valuing all political and social parties in the country.

He added, at the conclusion of the ceremony held, Thursday evening, in the courtyard of the International Conference Center “Mokhtar Daddah” in Nouakchott, in honor of the members of the National Assembly, on the occasion of presenting the government’s general policy for 2025 and its prospects for the current year 2026, that the government, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the President, will continue working to strengthen institutions and consolidate the independence of the authorities, stressing that the country needs everyone’s efforts and calling on all Mauritanians to unite and contribute to building the nation.
