The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bamb Meguett, accompanied by the Speaker of the Algerian People’s National Assembly, Mr. Ibrahim Bougalli, visited on Wednesday evening the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization in Nouakchott, in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication and Relations with Parliament, Spokesman of the Government, Mr. Al Hussein Mdou.

During his tour of the exhibition, the delegation received detailed explanations about this scientific edifice and its importance in consolidating the love of the Prophet (PBUH) and introducing people to him, as well as presenting the Islamic civilization with a comprehensive vision.

In a speech on the occasion, the Speaker of the Algerian People’s National Assembly said that the exhibition and the International Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization were made with modern technologies that document the Prophet’s biography since his birth and all the stages he went through, stressing that this type of museum preserves the Prophet’s biography, as it enables the delivery of information in a scientific and high-tech way in order to preserve the true religion.

He expressed his aspiration to see this type of museums in several countries that work to preserve and transmit the Islamic religion in a correct manner, calling for more efforts in this field.

He also thanked all those in charge of the exhibition and the International Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, praising the high level he saw during his visit.

The exhibition includes more than 20 scientific pavilions, enhanced with augmented and virtual reality, holograms and smart technologies, in addition to more than 50 interactive screens, to present the biography of the Prophet in an interactive 3D manner and in several languages: Arabic, French, English, Indonesian and Urdu.
