Economic Affairs Minister and Central Bank Governor Discuss Mechanisms for Strengthening Regional Development Cooperation with the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa

His Excellency the Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdullah Ould Suleiman Ould Cheikh Sidiya, accompanied by the Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Al-Amin Ould Al-Dhahbi, held talks yesterday, Wednesday, with His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Khalil Al-Musaybih, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (ADEA).

This meeting took place on the sidelines of our country’s delegation’s participation in the 2026 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, from June 16 to 19.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed prospects for strengthening existing regional cooperation between the Arab Bank and countries in the sub-region, as well as ways to develop the partnership in line with our country’s development priorities.
