Tributes have poured in for Norman Hamilton, with family members and public figures remembering the veteran broadcaster following his death aged 85.
Hamilton was one of Malta’s most recognisable broadcasting personalities, with a career spanning more than six decades.
His daughter Yasmin Hamilton shared an emotional farewell, describing her father as her “everything”.
“Thank you for making me the woman I am today! You made me strong just like you! You were a true gentleman and I was always so proud of you,” she wrote.
Helena Dalli remembered Hamilton as both a broadcasting icon and a kind, respected colleague, describing him as a professional “to the smallest detail” and a man with a big heart.
Alex Sciberras paid tribute to Hamilton’s contribution to broadcasting, tourism and Malta’s diplomatic service, describing him as a “true gentleman”, while Rebecca Buttigieg said his legacy would remain engraved in the history of Maltese broadcasting.
The tributes remember a man who became a familiar presence in Maltese homes while leaving a lasting mark on the country’s broadcasting history.
Lovin Malta extends its deepest condolences to Norman Hamilton’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
