Romeo Beckham Celebrates 23rd Birthday at Maltese-Owned Aki London

Romeo Beckham marked his 23rd birthday with a star-studded celebration at Aki London, the highly anticipated Japanese restaurant in central London. The venue, which is Maltese-owned and part of the DB Group, is so exclusive that it won’t officially open until September 23 – making Romeo’s birthday dinner one of the very first events at the restaurant.

The Beckham clan were all in attendance to toast the young model and influencer. His parents, David and Victoria Beckham, joined his younger brother Cruz with girlfriend Jackie Apostel, and little sister Harper. Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were notably absent, amid ongoing family tensions.

Guests dined on a lavish spread of sushi and sipped cocktails, wine, and champagne. Fashion-wise, black dominated the evening, with Victoria looking stunning in a sheer floor-length gown while Harper opted for a long, camera-shy dress. Romeo sported a black leather bandana and jacket, Cruz went for a more colorful look, and Jackie turned heads in a sleek black mini dress with a ponytail and sunglasses, reminiscent of Victoria’s signature style.

David and Victoria shared heartfelt birthday tributes on social media. David posted a childhood photo of Romeo, writing: “You are kind, humble, polite, hard-working, and the most special person to everyone. We love you so much. Have the most special day, HAPPY BIRTHDAY big boy.” Victoria added a recent holiday snap, captioning: “Happy birthday! You are our everything. Your love and kindness fills our hearts every day!”

For the Maltese DB Group, hosting such a high-profile event before Aki London’s official launch highlights the growing international influence of their brand, which brings contemporary Japanese dining with a unique Maltese touch to the heart of London.
