Scoring for 14 ministries that failed to meet targets to be carried out next month – KSN | Malaysia

THE process of awarding marks to 14 ministries that have been identified as having failed to achieve targets in the implementation of physical development projects will be carried out next month, said Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.

He said that each secretary-general of the ministry (KSU) involved will be called to be informed of the marks obtained based on demerits, due to the failure to implement the development projects.

“At the end of next month, I will start awarding marks to these 14 ministries that failed. I will call each KSU to inform what marks they have received based on demerits for the failure to implement the development projects in question,” he said.

On January 15, Shamsul Azri said that a total of 14 ministries were identified as having failed to achieve the targets in implementing physical project developments allocated last year.

He said that the status of project development expenditure under the ministry recorded 87.91 per cent, which is below the national average and requires serious attention. – February 7, 2026
