Pamela Ling’s disappearance: Police have recorded statements from 48 individuals | Malaysia

POLICE have recorded statements from a total 48 individuals to help in their investigation into the disappearance of Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh.

Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad said the police were still conducting investigations related to the case.

“We have made a photofit of the suspect, but so far we have not found a complete match, only a 40% match.

“We have recorded statements from 48 witnesses to assist the investigation,” he said as reported by Sinar Harian.

He said police were using various methods, including examining closed-circuit camera (CCTV) recordings to help the investigation.

Pamela, 42, was reported missing on April 9 while on her way to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Headquarters in Putrajaya in an e-hailing vehicle. The police report was received at 3.02 pm the same day.

Police previously confirmed the investigation included a review of the woman’s last location, including an examination of CCTV footage and information on the e-hailing service used. – July 2, 2025
