ACTRESS and singer Bella Astillah once again captured the attention of the media at Putrajaya Court on Friday, as reporters covered the second day of proceedings concerning the prosecution’s bid to overturn the acquittal of Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman on four counts of misappropriating funds from Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda (Armada).

Bella arrived at 8.30am, accompanied by several individuals, and was seen dressed in a traditional baju kurung. She smiled and greeted members of the media who had gathered to follow developments in the high-profile case.

According to previous reports, the hearings represent the prosecution’s final opportunity to challenge Syed Saddiq’s acquittal on the four Armada fund misappropriation charges.

The court scheduled the proceedings to run over two days beginning Thursday, presided over by a panel of judges.

The case has attracted considerable public and media interest, not only due to the political profile of the defendant but also because of the celebrity appearances at the court. -December 12, 2025
