Funds firm Alumia appoints Jeremy Albrecht to board

Alumia, an investment advisory and fund distribution firm, has named Jeremy Albrecht to its board of directors.

Albrecht is CEO and Luxembourg country head of the fund services provider Universal Investment and its European Fund Administration (EFA) unit. Universal Investment entered into a strategic alliance with, and took a 25% stake in, Alumia in 2023.

The appointment “signals a renewed focus on collaborative efforts” and will allow executives “to explore new opportunities and enhance our partnership,” the companies said in a joint press release on Wednesday, which added that the nomination has already been approved by Luxembourg’s financial regulator, the CSSF.

Albrecht joined Universal Investment in January 2025 after more than 20 years of leadership and client service roles at RBC Investor & Treasury Services, which was acquired by Caceis in 2023.
