The Operations Department at Al-Waha Oil Company announced the successful commissioning of three new oil wells. This is part of the Al-Waha field development program. This supports an increase in daily crude oil production. It also enhances the operational efficiency of the system. The company’s media office confirmed this.
The company explained the work involved commissioning well Q-116. This occurred in October 2025. It has an estimated production capacity of 2,777 barrels per day. Well B-230 was commissioned in the same month. Its production capacity reached 1,038 barrels per day. Well Q-118 was also brought online in November 2025. Its daily production reached 1,239 barrels.
The company noted that these operations were carried out by purely national expertise. This involved a high level of coordination and integration. Departments included Operations, Drilling, Reservoirs, and Production. Supporting departments also assisted. This reflects the company’s technical readiness. It also shows its institutional harmony.
