Misrata Chamber of Commerce received the German Ambassador to Libya, Arvid Anders, at its Misrata headquarters today, accompanied by Dominik Lauf-Wilhelm, First Secretary for Political Affairs, Communications, Migration, and Human Rights.

The delegation was welcomed by Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, Misrata Chamber of Commerce Chairman, along with Yousef Abu Shaiba, Director of the Chamber’s Office of External Relations and International Cooperation.

The meeting addressed ways to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries, as well as how to leverage German expertise across various economic and industrial sectors. Discussions also covered mechanisms to facilitate visa procedures for Libyan businesspeople and to overcome challenges faced by the Chamber’s members.

The Chairman emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and opening broader avenues for communication and partnership between the business communities of Libya and Germany.
