Fourth Session of National Reconciliation and Human Rights Process Begins in Tripoli

Tripoli – The fourth in-person session of the national reconciliation and human rights track opened in Tripoli. It is part of the structured dialogue process. The session will continue from May 18 to 21. Participants will revise national and local reconciliation recommendations. They will also address transitional justice files. Previous and current reconciliation initiatives will be reviewed. The goal is to finalize recommendations.

Participants prioritize integrating diverse community components. This includes cultural groups, youth, women, victims, and people with disabilities. The aim is to prepare practical, implementable recommendations. These recommendations will be based on human rights principles. This track supports political and social stability. It also seeks to enhance opportunities for national consensus in Libya.
