Equipping the new transformer at Marawa Station to enhance network stability

Marawa – The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy continues intensive technical work. This prepares for the new 220/30 kV transformer at the Marawa station. It is part of the ministry’s efforts. These efforts aim to enhance grid stability. They also improve electrical network efficiency.

The work includes precise preparations for the transformer. This involves preparing its dedicated base. Three clamps were installed on the penetration insulators for reserve circuit number one. Additionally, three conductors, each 25 meters long, were installed. Three suspension boats were fitted with these conductors. All work followed the highest technical standards. This ensures the transformer’s full readiness for connection. It guarantees efficient entry into service.

The High Voltage Lines Department in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar executed all tasks. They adhered to professional safety standards. Technical quality standards were also met. This ensures the new transformer’s integration. It will significantly improve the region’s electricity supply.

This project is a key component in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar’s electricity sector development. It reflects the ministry’s commitment. The ministry ensures diligent field monitoring.
