Benghazi – Desert patrols seized two vehicles. These patrols belong to the Southeast branch of the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency. The seizure occurred at the Libyan-Sudanese border. The vehicles were used for smuggling migrants and fuel.

The agency reported this through its media office. The first vehicle was intercepted during continuous desert patrols. It was coming from Sudanese territory. It was engaged in smuggling. It carried 22 undocumented migrants. The second vehicle was heading outside Libyan borders. It was transporting a quantity of gasoline.

The agency confirmed that desert patrols continue their security operations. These operations are relentless. They are especially active during the holy month of Ramadan. The goal is to combat all illegal activities. These activities threaten the nation’s security.
