A meeting was held yesterday at the Arabian Gulf Oil Company’s (AGOCO) headquarters, between representatives of AGOCO and the American company Chevron.

The meeting aimed to strengthen communication with international companies and explore opportunities for joint cooperation.

The meeting addressed prospects for joint cooperation and opportunities for developing the AGOCO’s oil fields.

Participants included members of the Management Committee and directors of relevant technical departments.

The available opportunities for developing the oil fields were reviewed, and the latest technologies and technical solutions used in exploration and production were discussed.

Maintenance programmes, development projects, and efforts to improve operational efficiency were also addressed.

The meeting facilitated an exchange of technical visions and expertise between the two sides, exploring ways to leverage Chevron’s advanced technologies and leading global practices to support development plans, enhance technical performance, and improve production rates.

AGOCO said this meeting reflects its commitment to expanding cooperation with international oil companies and benefiting from their expertise and technical capabilities to support field development plans and enhance the efficiency of oil operations.
