Accreditation Committee Contributes to the Development of Health Programs

Sirt – Dr. Ali Al-Maadani is the Head of Academic Programs at the Sirt Oncology Center. He affirmed the significance of a recent visit. This visit was by the Institutional Accreditation Committee of the Arab Board for Health Specialties. He stated the visit supports health institutions in Libya. It also contributes to developing training programs. Furthermore, it reinforces quality and accreditation standards.

Al-Maadani explained this in a statement to a “WAL” correspondent in Sirt. The specialized team’s visit represents a real opportunity. It allows for program evaluation. It also strengthens institutional building. He pointed out that the center is solidifying its role. It aims to be a pivotal specialized center in the Central Region. The center combines advanced treatment services. It also builds a training and educational system. This system prepares medical personnel. It follows robust scientific and professional principles.

He noted that the committee’s evaluation focuses on six main specialties at the center. Developing and accrediting these programs is a priority for the next phase. He revealed the number of visitors to the center last year. It reached 170,651 patients. These visits were for treatment, follow-up, and medical examinations. This reflects the center’s significant role. It provides advanced health services in the Central Region.
