NIGERIA – The Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in West Africa (FECCIWA), sent greetings and a message of solidarity to the CCN at the their recently concluded 32nd Triennial Assembly held in Abuja, Nigeria on November 26-27, 2025. The message congratulated CCN commended the organisation for the active role they are playing in the revival of FECCIWA.
FECCIWA noted CCN’s role in promoting Christian Unity across the region and to continue “to join hands with other Christian and like-minded organisations in the subregion, in tackling and speaking up against issues such as religious violence, insecurity and injustices in Nigeria, and other matters that impact on the lives of members and their communities.
FECCIWA also called on CCN to work with other organisations in the fight against hunger and poverty in the region. In this regard, FECCIWA called on CCN to work with like-minded organisations towards feeding our communities in a region where millions of people – children, women, and men – are facing life-threatening hunger, acute malnutrition, and the crushing weight of systemic poverty”
The message concluded with best wishes to CCN and for a successful and fruitful assembly.
