Maseru, Sep.19 — Night of Music, Movement and Celebration at the Lesotho 3rd National Music Awards.

The Manthabiseng Convention Centre is alive tonight as the Lesotho 3rd National Music Awards bring together music lovers, performers and fashion enthusiasts for an evening of celebration.

Before a single award has been handed out, the atmosphere inside the hall is already electric.

The stage has become a playground for some of Lesotho’s finest local talent. Great Khabele, Ntoane, Keneuoe Ntlhoki and Vexy Lee have taken turns entertaining an increasingly animated crowd, while Empire Modelling has added a splash of glamour and movement to the evening.

From the audience comes a chorus of ululations, cheers and applause, rising and falling with every performance.

People are on their feet, moving to the music, singing along and soaking in the moment.

The hall feels less like a venue and more like one big celebration.

There is a sense of anticipation in the air.

Conversations are punctuated by bursts of laughter and excitement, while eyes remain fixed on the stage as performers keep the energy high.
