The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, M’e Mantiti Khabo, has officially received the artificial turf for the national stadium in Setsoto. The delivery marks a key milestone in the ongoing effort to upgrade Lesotho’s main sporting facility.
M’e Mantiti Khabo confirmed that the laying of the artificial turf will begin in early January. She stated that preparations at the stadium are already underway to ensure the installation process runs smoothly and meets required standards.
The Permanent Secretary emphasized that overseeing the readiness of the stadium falls under her responsibility. She reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with all relevant teams to ensure the stadium is fully prepared before installation begins.
The artificial turf project is expected to significantly improve the quality of the playing surface at the national stadium. It will enhance athlete performance, reduce maintenance challenges, and allow the facility to host more matches and events throughout the year.
