The week starts dry, but a cyclone with rain and snow is approaching Latvia

According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Monday will be mostly clear, although cloud cover will increase in the eastern part of the country during the day. No precipitation is expected. A light to moderate north-easterly to northerly wind will blow. At night, temperatures will drop to between -2°C and +3°C, while during the day the air will warm up to +7°C to +12°C.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, skies will be partly cloudy, with clearer conditions more common at night. Dry weather will continue. A light to moderate northerly wind will prevail. Nighttime temperatures will fall to between -2°C and +3°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to +10°C to +15°C. In many coastal areas, it will be slightly cooler, around +7°C to +12°C.

In the second half of the week, a large cyclone will reach Latvia, bringing more frequent precipitation and gusty winds.

Rain is expected mainly in the eastern part of the country, with localized wet snow also possible.

By the weekend, precipitation is expected across the entire country.

The meteorological centre notes that nighttime temperatures will remain similar to current levels—dropping below 0°C in many areas, while coastal regions will be a few degrees warmer. Daytime temperatures, however, will become cooler, mostly ranging between +3°C and +9°C.
