EASY GOLD Wins Two Awards at Lao MSME Expo

EASY GOLD, Laos’ first digital gold investment platform, received two major awards at the Lao MSME Expo held at ITECC Mall in Vientiane Capital from 25 February to 1 March.

The annual expo recognizes small and medium-sized enterprises for their contributions to socio-economic development. This year, EASY GOLD earned the Lao MSME Outstanding Award in the Outstanding MSME Supporter category and the MSMEs Sustainability Excellence Award in the Innovation and Technology category.

The awards were presented by the Director General of the Department of SME Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce.

Chief Executive Officer Chanthavong Phamisith accepted the awards on behalf of the company, describing the recognition as a milestone in the platform’s development.

“EASY GOLD’s growth from a small gold store to becoming one of the country’s leading gold investment applications has not been easy,” he said. “We are driven by a strong determination to introduce innovation into the Lao gold market, and to foster a continuously growing Lao digital economy.”

The platform allows users to begin investing in gold with a minimum of LAK 100,000, aiming to lower traditional barriers to gold ownership. By digitizing transactions, the company seeks to expand access to gold investment for wage earners, small business owners, students, and young professionals.

The recent awards follow earlier international recognition, including a Start-up Award from the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization last year.

EASY GOLD operates as a subsidiary of the Khamphouvong Group and continues to position itself within Laos’ growing digital finance sector, with plans to expand access to long-term investment options in the future.
