President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will pay an official visit to South Korea from September 15 to 18. The trip will take place at the invitation of the leader of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae Myung.
This will be Sadyr Japarov’s second visit to South Korea; he previously visited Seoul on an official trip in December 2024.
During the current visit, the head of state will participate in the first Central Asia — Republic of Korea summit. The adoption of the Seoul Declaration is planned following the meeting.
In addition, Sadyr Japarov will hold bilateral talks with South Korea’s top leadership.
The visit is expected to result in the signing of a package of bilateral documents covering economic, investment, customs, and other sectors.
